An associate once told me… “to get the most bang for your advertising buck, simply type in your targeted keyword in Google’s search engine, and pick the top of the list to advertise on”.  I couldn’t believe what I heard.  I then asked her, “you mean just advertise your website on one site, on the first page of Google’s results?”  “What about MSN Live and Yahoo!?  Do you do the same with those search engines?” I asked.

Depending of course on your  selected keyword or keyword pharse, advertising on the top dog search engine result page could prove expensive.  Two more search engines added to the heap and you’ve got yourself a little investment.

Yeah okay…. and how many Internet users have even come close to trying out twelve hundred search engines? Most Internet users rely on just a couple at most.  Just how many Search Engines are there?  The truth of the matter there are only a handful of search engines… that’ll offer you any degree of traffic- if your website is properly indexed that is.

Buyer beware of the unscrupulous submission scam. Twelve hundred search engines are not going to do your website one bit of squat.  You’ll end up paying some off the wall submission company to automatically feed your website URL to a whole crap pile of garbage, go-nowhere search engines that nobody uses anyway.  The link backs they create are irrevelant. In fact, if improperly deployed as most are,  it could harm your website more than do it any good what so ever.  

I’ll tell you what… if you really want to part with your hard earned money, give it to me and I’ll save it to buy a brand new Jaguar XK Coupe, and then I’ll post the picture of the car and myself right here so you can see some real results with your money!
