Purpose + Topic + Content= Identity
Purpose
Define your website’s purpose.  What are you trying to establish with a website? Voice an opinion? Share a talent? Meet people? Sell a product? Sell a service? Activist? What is your motive? Sum up and write down at least three keyword pharses that best describes your website purpose.

Topic
What is the topic of your website? It is a particular subject that you discuss or write about. Yes, that’s right. Whether you like it or not, you’re always going to have to write about something on your website… whether its about you, your dog, your cat, your family, values, profession, business, products or services. And you had better be an authority on it. If you’re not passionate enough about your subject (what ever that is), either will your visitors. Write down three keyword pharses that best describes your website topic.

Content
Everything revolves around your website’s content… the text you write on your website page/s. The more content you add, the more valuable your website and its pages become. Provided of course, the text/content is relavent to your site’s purpose and topic.
